Enroot: to put down roots. En route: to be on the way, or traveling. This is a chronicle of my attempt to do both of these seemingly contradictory things.
From February 2010 to May 2012 I am serving in the Peace Corps in Rwanda doing Community Health and Organizational Development.
I graduated in 2008 from Swarthmore College. I have a background in refugee issues: I interned at UNHCR in Geneva focusing on prevention and response to sexual and gender based violence, and I worked in refugee resettlement in Boston. After Peace Corps I hope to continue working in the field on refugee and/or post-conflict issues.

Hey Vazza,
ReplyDeleteJust read your message in the ST. Had no clue you were gonna be with the peace corp, I think it's pretty cool. :)
What kind of projects are you doing now?
Was gonna pm you but your IF box is full, so I figure I'd do it this way. :)
Regards,
GG/Ingrid
